An initiative of the ASDL in collaboration with Obra Social ‘La Caixa’
25 unemployed people from Benidorm are preparing for their return to the labor market with ‘Get Active for Employment’
The second edition of ‘Get Active for Employment’ program, in which 25 people participate, started this morning in the Assembly Hall of the City Council. This is a free personal training activity, aimed at unemployed people, organized by the Employment and Local Promotion Agency (AEDL), with the aim of facilitating their access to the labor market.
‘Get Active for Employment’ arises from the collaboration between the Department of Employment and the Social Work of ‘La Caixa’ Foundation, which finances 100% of the activity. During three days, through group dynamics and personalized tutorials, the participants prepare to face, with the greatest guarantees of success, their return to the job market.
The Councilor for Employment, Mónica Gómez, took the opportunity to greet the members of ‘Get Active for Employment’ and reminded them of the “full support of the City Council” in their active searches for a professional future. She has also encouraged them to participate in the programmed activities, conducted on this occasion by the economist and professional counselor Vigela Lloret.
This is the second edition of this 2020 ‘Get Active for Employment’. The first was held last month, delayed due to the confinement caused by Covid-19. The Department of Employment will continue working on initiatives like this in the coming months.
