Exhibition of Posters Against Gender-Based Violence

As part of the initiatives promoted by the Department of Equality for the prevention of gender-based violence, the “Exhibition of Posters Against Gender-Based Violence” is a key project. This initiative is carried out in collaboration with the Visual Arts Department of IES Pere Mª Orts i Bosch, whose students are the alma mater of the project.

This exhibition takes place annually, coinciding with the events organised for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. It features posters created by students in the second year of the Artistic Baccalaureate program, who use art to condemn and reject the various forms of violence that claim the lives of dozens of women in Spain each year.

The “Exhibition of Posters Against Gender-Based Violence” is supported by the Provincial Council of Alicante. Specifically, within the “2025 Call for Grants to Municipalities and Territorial Entities of Lower Scope than the Municipality (E.A.T.I.M.) in the Province of Alicante for Programs and Activities Promoting Equal Opportunities and Preventing Gender-Based Violence,” the provincial authority has granted  2.032,80 euros",  proyecto una ayuda de 2.032,80 euros.
