Protocol for action against sexual and gender harassment

The II Municipal Gender Equality Plan contemplates the implementation of actions to prevent and combat sexual harassment, based on sex, sexual orientation and gender identity in the field of labour relations of Benidorm City Council.

The municipal plenary session approved the PROTOCOL FOR ACTION AGAINST SEXUAL AND GENDER HARASSMENT on March 26, 2018.

The protocol for action against sexual harassment, due to sex, sexual orientation and gender identity, establishes the procedures to follow to prevent or avoid these behaviours that violate the dignity of people, harm labour relations and generate negative effects on people's health.

The protocol defines the behaviours to be prevented, arbitrates measures to channel any complaints or claims that may arise, and proposes the adoption of measures to protect victims.
