Green Flags Movement

The Green Flags Movement is ECOVIDRIO's campaign in which it offers its support to coastal municipalities in the face of the high consumption rates of glass containers during the summer in the hospitality channel.

To this end, the campaign focuses on supporting hoteliers with the necessary means to improve the selective collection of glass in summer, as well as supporting city councils that believe in the need to work for more sustainable development. in this case through glass recycling.

The Green Flag is the physical and symbolic recognition that Ecovidrio will grant to the municipality that has shown the greatest involvement in the campaign, becoming a reference in the recycling of glass containers, the fight against climate change and the care of our coasts.

The collaboration of the town councils is very important since to qualify for one of the 9 Green Flags that are awarded throughout Spain it is necessary to meet a series of requirements, among which the promotion that they make of the campaign on the different channels stands out especially.
