Youth programs a summer camp in Palencia mountains with activities in English

Aimed at children from 8 to 16 years, it will take place from 17 to 31 July

The Councilor for Youth, Ana Pellicer, this morning has presented the details of the Summer Camp organized by Benidorm City Hall from 17 to 31 July in Arbejal, a town in the Palencia mountain, aimed at children and young people between 8 and 16 years. Pellicer stressed that this call maintains "important developments such as English teaching in all areas and activities that are carried out, although children will also be introduced to the basic knowledge of other languages ​​such as French, Russian, Chinese, etc. Their customs and culture ".

The camp facilities are located in the heart of the province of Palencia, at the confluence of the rivers Pisuerga and Rivera, in the Natural Park of Fuentes Carrionas, and has all the necessary infrastructure. Tents, kitchen, dining rooms, toilet and showers, infirmary, esplanades for games and sports fields.

Registration is 300 euros and includes travel, accommodation with full board, insurance, and all scheduled activities, which include cultural tours by coach with guided tours to Palencia and León, and attendance to workshops taught by qualified instructors.

Ana Pellicer stressed that a week before the departure "there will be, as always, a meeting with the parents in the Casa del Fester to give all the details of the daily planning of the activities, as well as any other aspect of the camp that May interest ". As for the planned activities indicated that there will be workshops, development of emotional intelligence, sports, games, hiking, theater and song evenings and environmental activities, among others.

Interested persons can already request information and register at the Youth Information Center, for which it is necessary to present the application form filled with personal and health information, a photocopy of the health card and a photograph of a card.
