Youth organizes a instructor course for children and youth free time activities

The Department of Youth, in collaboration with the Institut Valencià de la Joventut (IVAJ), and the youth departments of the municipalities of the Marina Baixa, announces an official course for Children and Youth of Educational Free Time Activities Instructor.

The initiative was presented this morning by the councillor for the area, Jaime Jesús Pérez, who recalled that carrying it out entails obtaining the degree that "enables one to work in the organization, dynamization and evaluation of activities aimed at youth and children such as camps, summer schools or school canteens during the school year”, among others.

The course is aimed at young people of legal age or who turn 18 while it is being taught. It has a duration of 310 hours, of which 150 will be teaching, the rest practical. The training will begin on May 21 and will end on August 6 "always on a Saturday", Jaime Jesús Pérez has specified "to allow young people who study or work to combine it with the completion of the course".

The sessions will take place in Benidorm and also in other towns in the Marina Baixa with the aim of "sharing experiences" from all the Youth areas of the region and "allowing young people to learn first-hand about the actions carried out in the rest of the municipalities”, the councillor specified.

The course costs 135 euros and, together with the completed registration form, a passport photograph, a photocopy of the identity document and the receipt must be presented.
