Youth and the Chamber of Commerce organize a free English course for hospitality

The Department of Youth, and Alicante Chamber of Commerce, has organized a free English course for hospitality, aimed at people between 16 and 29 years of age and lasting 185 hours. The councillor of the department, Jaime Jesús Pérez, explained that "this course is part of the training activities that are carried out throughout the year by the Department of Youth to improve the skills and job opportunities of the young population of Benidorm.

Pérez has detailed that “the course is structured in three blocks”. The first of them, to which 65 hours will be devoted, is oriented to 'Social skills and employability'. Customer service in the field of restoration is the focus of the second block of content, in which participants will learn specific terminology in customer relations; the usual uses and structures; and the treatment of claims or complaints. In the third and last block, students will practice oral and written expression of the specific terminology of the restaurant.

To participate in this course it is necessary to be registered in the Youth Guarantee program or to do so before formalizing the registration, and to have previous knowledge of English.
