The Wednesday market returns to Mercasa
The Wednesday market returns from this week to its original location in Mercasa. The councilor for Commerce, Ana Pellicer, has pointed out that this transfer takes place once the City Hall has received the parking area of Foietes Park, where only remain to carry out gardening work that are compatible with the market and it is expected to take place from February. Pellicer indicated that sellers have welcomed "very positively" the return to Mercasa, a site now "more attractive", wider and allow better flow of people. In addition, the new vials that have been created within the park project facilitate the transit of health and emergency vehicles. The councillor recalled that due to the works of Foietes Park the market has been held for just over a year in the Fairgrounds, which the Town Hall asphalted to accommodate this activity. This adaptation will allow "the market does not have to cancel", when sports or musical events are held in Foietes as it may be temporarily moved to the Exhibition Center. In addition, this space "is also available for fairs or other activities".
