Un total de 16 alumnos reciben premios extraordinarios por su rendimiento académico en Primaria y Secundaria

Others 21 students get a special mention for their records

A total of 37 students who have completed their primary and secondary education in private and public schools in Benidorm have received special mentions and extraordinary prizes for their academic performance during the academic year 2015-2016 from the mayor, Toni Pérez, thus recognizing the brightest students of Benidorm and delivering a diploma and a gift. An act that has been developed in the Assembly Hall of the City Council and that has had as main protagonists the primary students of the schools CEIP Aitana, CEIP Ausiàs March, CEIP Els Tolls, CEIP Miguel Hernández, CEIP Serra Gelada, CEIP El Murtal, CEIP La Cala, CEIP Vasco Núñez de Balboa, Nuestra Señora de lo Dolores and CI Lope de Vega. Once the act aimed at Primary students was finished, it was time for Secondary students. One by one, the four students deserving of an extraordinary award for their academic results in 2015-2016 went to the stage, as well as the eight students who received a special mention for their performance belonging to the centers C.I. Lope de Vega, IES Beatriu Fajardo de Mendoza, IES L'Almadrava, IES Mediterrània and Nuestra Señora de los Dolores. The mayor has said that it is "a pride to the city to have so many boys and girls" whose academic performance has won"a special mention or prize" and added that all of them "are a magnificent example of what any director or teacher would want. " To all these students, the mayor thanked them for "their effort" and wished them that in the new academic stage they have already begun, they continue the tenet "to obtain the same results" they have achieved in their years in Primary and Secondary. Finally, Pérez also appreciated the role "of those who make these students be here," from their families to teaching staff in schools.
