The violinist Francisco Fullana and the pianist José María Villegas star in a duo the second date of 'Grandes Recitales 2018' cycle

The auditorium of Benidorm City Hall hosts tomorrow, Friday, October 12 at 8:00 p.m., the second concert of the cycle 'Grandes Recitals 2018', which will be given by the violinist Francisco Fullana and the pianist José María Villegas.

The Mallorcan violinist Francisco Fullana, winner of the '2018 Avery Fisher Career Grant', has been named by BBC Music Magazine as "one of the emerging stars of the international scene". For his part, the Sevillian pianist José María Villegas, who already starred in solo concert last 5, has been awarded with important national and international awards and has offered recitals in countries of the 5 continents.

This cycle has scheduled performances for every Friday of the month of October. The next Friday 19 will celebrate one of the novelties of this year: the concert that will offer students of the municipal conservatory awarded in the inter-center competitions Marina Baixa. These young interpreters are Joel Conejero Nogueroles, Pablo Carbonell Galiana, Mar Navarro Ivars, Adrián Vaello Pérez, Ángela Esquerdo Soler, Sergio Comín Pérez, Antonio Albert Prats, Francisco Javier Gómez Pla and Joamba Pérez Mingot.

The closing of the cycle will be on Friday 26 with the duet concert of the saxophonist from Benidorms Ignacio Gascón and the pianist Ivet Frontela. All concerts will be held in the Assembly Hall of the City Hall at 8:00 p.m.
