Training workshops for Benidorm trade facing the Christmas campaign
The Department of Commerce, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Alicante, through the Agency for the Promotion of Commercial Innovation (AFIC) and with the collaboration of the Independent Association of Merchants (AICO), has launched the Week of Commercial Training, a series of training workshops aimed at Benidorm merchants.
The head of the municipal area, Ana Pellicer, accompanied by the general director of the Chamber of Alicante, Carlos Mazón, and the treasurer of AICO, Conchi Naranjo, announced that on November 20, 21 and 23 will be held "three workshops "for the merchants of the city within the actions of the Integral Support Plan for the Competitiveness of Retail Trade 2017, of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness, which in the Valencian Community has been implemented by the Council of Chambers of Commerce.
Pellicer stressed that "the three institutions have actively collaborated" in the selection of the thematic areas to be dealt with, and "with the communication actions of the workshops and the attraction of the interested business owners". The mayor also pointed out that the school schedule will be adapted "to the needs of merchants." They will be at Casa del Fester, they will last two hours, from 15.00 to 17.00 in the afternoon.
With these workshops is intended "to attract the attention of customers, gain visibility and, incidentally, increase sales," said Pellicer and that in this training will deepen "through window dressing, commercial interior design and networks social, "and recalled that the Christmas season will begin very soon.
The first of the workshops will be taught by Cristina Catalá and is called 'Set up your trade: visual window dressing and merchandising. The second will be carried out by Izaskún Goyeneche, under the title 'Optimize your commercial space: commercial interior design'. Finally, the third will be taught by Cristina Gaona: 'Plan the digital marketing of your business'. Ana Pellicer has recommended that attendees attend classes with a laptop or tablet with which to perform the practices of each of the workshops.
For his part, Carlos Mazón thanked "the commitment to urban trade from the City of Benidorm" and believes that this type of workshops are tools "that can be applied to local commerce" and especially "adapted to the shops". He has also insisted on the gratuity of this training and reminded that there are few free places left. Interested people can expand the information in the dependencies of the Department of Commerce.
