The mayor has explained that "we have carried out the distribution of powers as quickly as possible to respond to the maximum demand that Benidorm needs to be managed", and has stated that "it is a distribution that maintains continuity in management to a great extent", but with adjustments that aim to "maintain the maximum connection of the local administration with the citizenry"
Toni Pérez has stressed that the great objective is "accessibility at all levels", as a concept that "pervades management from all work areas in a transversal way". He has also valued the necessary continuity of "urban surgery, the detail of each neighborhood of Benidorm, which has been supported by the citizenry."
The mayor has made it clear to the media that he "in no case" would delegate the tourism competition, which he will continue to hold during this legislature as he has been doing since 2015.
The mayor has announced that next Thursday, June 22, at nine in the morning, the ordinary plenary session of municipal organization will be held. In that same session, as he has announced, the draw for the polling stations for the general elections on July 23 will also take place.
