Toni Pérez greets the students of the Master of Rice and Mediterranean Haute Cuisine at the end of their internship in Benidorm
The ten students of the Master of Rice and Mediterranean Haute Cuisine of the University of Alicante have finished their internships in Benidorm today and, together with the coordinator Ángeles Ruiz, have been greeted by the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, who has encouraged them to continue training for specialization and thereby contribute to consolidating the rich and abundant gastronomic offer of the entire Costa Blanca.
The Master has the collaboration of Benidorm City Council, together with those of Denia, Altea, Alicante and Pego that offer training scholarships. Benidorm City Council gives three study grants endowed with 2,000 euros each, one being for registered master students in Benidorm; and the other two to students who are studying to be an Specialist in Culinary Science and Technology and Pairings, integrating the studies in the specialties taught by the University of Alicante in the field of High Gastronomy.
Among the teaching staff, several Michelin stars and prominent professionals in the cuisine, oenology, sommelier and pastry, to the final touch of local gastronomy by Trini Más and the traditional ‘arròs amb fesols i naps’.
