Tomorrow, Friday, September 16, the deadline to request new aid of up to 1,000 euros for local businesses to minimize the impact of the rise in energy begins, as reported by the Councilor for Employment and Local Promotion, Mónica Gómez, a time that the call has been published today in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP).
Gómez recalled that this call is aimed at SMEs, micro-SMEs and the self-employed and has an endowment of 292,491 euros, which will be financed with funds from the Alicante Provincial Council.
As was already advanced at the beginning of the week, “textile, sports, footwear and leather stores will be able to benefit from these aids; bookstores and stationery stores; furniture and lighting stores; hardware stores; toy stores; florists; pet shops; of second-hand items; laundries and dry cleaners; and hairdressers and beauty salons.
The request can be processed from tomorrow, Friday, at 09:30 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. on September 30 on the website of the City Council: https://sede.benidorm.org
Precisely on the website and also in the BOP, the full bases of the call for aid can be consulted, in which the requirements that the applicant companies or self-employed must meet, the profiles and epigraphs of the businesses that can benefit, the eligible expenses, etc.
Broadly speaking, SMEs, micro-SMEs and the self-employed of the headings included in the call that have started their activity before December 31, 2021, that have their fiscal address in Benidorm, and whose establishment has the corresponding license, may apply for this aid. opening.
The costs of electricity, gas or fuel directly linked to the activity and assumed in a specific period reflected in the bases will be considered eligible expenses. Through this aid, up to 50% of these expenses will be subsidized, with a maximum amount of 1,000 euros. The expenses that are contributed may not have been presented for the obtaining and justification of other public aid.
The head of Local Promotion has pointed out that "this aid is one more example of the constant and maintained support for the productive fabric that the City Council has been carrying out since the Covid-19 crisis was declared and with which it is now intended to minimize the impact of the escalation of the price of energy or inflation”. Gómez has stressed that "during all this time, we have been modulating the aid to attend at all times to the productive or population sectors that most needed it", and added that "this will continue to be the line of action of this government".
