Sports collaborates with the solidarity day of IQL Tennis & Padel Club in favor of Anémona
The Department of Sports, directed by Mariló Cebreros, collaborates with the I Re-United Solidarity Day in favour of Anémona and is organized by IQL Tennis & Padel Club. The festive sports day will take place this Saturday, May 7, at the club's facilities and the aim is to give women a greater voice and visibility, especially those who have suffered from breast and/or gynaecological cancer.
The Re-United day will feature sports activities, cultural activities and talks, which will take place between 10:00 and 22:00. Among these activities, there are planned tennis and paddle tennis tournaments -both with a participation cost of 10 euros-, yoga sessions, pilates, aquafitness, watsu or the initiative '1 euros per solidarity kilometre on the treadmill'; as well as micro theatre, poetry, musical performances, ceramics workshop and talks on physical and mental health.
In addition, the organization, headed by Celia Moya, has planned a market and restaurant services so that "the day is complete".
This 1st Re-United Solidarity Conference is part of the calendar of sports activities organized by the club throughout May, including the gold edition of the UTR Series Amateur Tennis Circuit on May 7 and 8, and of Padel the following weekend -from May 13 to 15-; a Working Breakfast on Sports Tourism on the 11th; and, finally, a new test of IBP Tennis circuit: the Marina Baixa Tennis Open, from May 13 to 22.
