The SICTED management team of Benidorm, among the best in the country
The team in charge of managing the coordination and implementation of the quality SICTED project in Benidorm is one of the best in the country. This has been recognized by the Secretary of State for Tourism, which has awarded it second prize in the category of 'Best SICTED Management Team' in the 14th edition of its annual awards. The mayor, Toni Pérez, collected this award today during the Madrid International Tourism Fair, Fitur, in an event organized jointly by the Secretary of State for Tourism and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).
With this award, the Secretary of State highlights the effort in the coordination, implementation and deployment of the quality project made by the Benidorm management team, made up of staff from the Department of Tourism, led by the mayor himself. The dissemination of the project is also recognized, as well as the involvement in its maintenance and evolution.
The mayor, Toni Pérez, has pointed out that "this award comes to endorse and recognize the commitment of Benidorm and its tourism sector to quality as a basis for the constant improvement of the tourist experience in our destination." Today, 76 tourist companies and services in the city have this quality mark, including the beaches and the central tourism office, while by 2024 another 16 local tourist organizations and companies have joined to form part of this network.
