The event will celebrate its fifth edition on July 6 and 7 and plans to leave an economic impact of 7 million euros, exceeding last year's 25,000 attendees

The Reggaeton Beach Festival chooses Benidorm to celebrate the 'Gold Edition' in the country

25 January 2024
El Regaetton Beach Festival elige Benidorm para celebrar la única ‘Edición Gold’ del país

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, participated this Thursday in the presentation of the fifth edition of the Regaetton Beach Festival, one of the great musical events that will take place in the city during 2024 and which plans to exceed the 25,000 people from previous editions. The presentation took place within the framework of the International Tourism Fair held in Madrid, and the Councilor for Festivals and Events of the Benidorm City Council, Jesús Carrobles, as well as the director of the RBF, Raúl Rojas, also participated.

Toni Pérez highlighted that this event is one of the pillars of the “calendar of festivals that come to feed a new, well-established tourist attraction in Benidorm and that, in addition, complement the entire multi-product offer that the city offers throughout the year.” Likewise, he indicated that "the fact of bringing together 25,000 people each year also demonstrates that it is a festival with its stamp and with a loyal audience, who will undoubtedly return to Benidorm next July to enjoy."

For his part, the person in charge of the organization has announced that this year Benidorm will be one of the only venues in the country in which a 'Gold Edition' will be organized, coinciding with the fifth anniversary of its arrival in the city. It will be on July 6 and 7, at the Guillermo Amor Sports City, and this 'gold' label will be accompanied "not only by a luxury poster but also with some surprises and parallel events because Benidorm is our flagship", Raúl Rojas stated. Although at the moment no artist has been confirmed, the director of the RBF has anticipated that there will be “national and international figures.”

Likewise, he has indicated that the data they handle regarding the economic impact of this musical event suggests that it will leave an income of 7 million euros and more than 16,000 tourist overnight stays for audiences who come from different parts of Spain exclusively to enjoy this festival.

“We are working with the City Council to be able to even increase the capacity of previous years because Benidorm has always been a total sales success and for this year - even though there are still months left for its celebration - they are also going at a very high rate”, has added.
