Minute of silence of Benidorm Town Hall by the murdered of a woman in Seseña
Benidorm City Council has kept a minute of silence today, Monday, February 13, at 12.00 at the door of the municipal offices, in memory of the last victim of the domestic violence killed last weekend in Seseña, Toledo.
Together with other members of the municipal corporation, the mayor, Toni Pérez, and the councilwman of Equality, have headed the protest for this new victim of gender violence. The corpses of a woman and her husband were found in the house that they shared since 2016 in Castilla La Mancha. Supposedly, the man, a civil guard, assigned to the UCO (Central Operative Unit), killed the woman with a firearm and then killed himself.
Double murder in Daimiel
At about the same time that Benidorm showed its rejection of gender violence, a new case was confirmed: the murder of a woman and her daughter in Ciudad Real, in the town of Daimiel. From the department of Equality of Benidorm City Hall insists on remembering the existence of the number 016, which can go to people who feel threatened and does not leave a trace in the telephone bill.
