Benidorm in search of the active Dutch tourist

Benidorm continues working with the intention of increasingly diversifying the tourist offer of the city and attracting new profiles of tourists, especially in the off-season. For this reason he participated during this weekend in a fair focused on sports tourism, which has been held in the Dutch town of Utrecht.

The fair "Wandelbeurs", is an event specialized in cycling and hiking that attracts about 20,000 visitors each year and nearly 500 exhibitors, and in Benidorm, has had its own counter located in the area of ​​Turespaña and under the umbrella of the brand Comunitat Valenciana.

Visit Benidorm has come to this fair with the aim of positioning Benidorm in the mind of the tourist of cycling and hiking Dutch, carrying out a great coverage of the destination and its offer for lovers of outdoor sports. Events such as the Costa Blanca Bike Race or the stage of the Vuelta Ciclista a España 2016 that took off in the city last September, in adition to the fact that Benidorm will have 50km of bike path in 2017, reinforce this message, and allow that everything that Benidorm offers to tourists is conected.
