The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, together with the Councilor for Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, have received today the new Comissió de Festes de Sant Antoni 2021 presided by José Vicente Calvo in the City Hall office. He has attended the meeting accompanied by members of the board and members of the Commission.
The Comissió, which was formed a few weeks ago, is composed of 71 mayorales. Many of them are the same as in 2017, they took charge of the organization of the celebrations dedicated to this saint with great roots in the city, especially in the surroundings of La Huerta district. One of the characteristics of this Comissió is that it involves an important number of fathers and mothers of the court of honor of Festes Majors Patronals of Benidorm 2019.
During the meeting, the members of the commission have detailed some of the activities that will take place throughout this year: special dinners, ‘menjars de la terra’, popular cinema or the typical ‘cagà de la burra’.
