Collaboration agreement between Benidorm City Council and Doble Amor Center
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has signed today, together with the president of Doble Amor, Casimiro Vila, a collaboration agreement between the City Council and the entity for the realization of programs and activities for people with functional diversity.The Councilor for Social Welfare, Angela Llorca was also present.
With the signing of the agreement today, the City Council makes Doble Amor a first installment of 60,000 euros charged to the subsidy, which will be used for the development of occupational workshops, maintenance of facilities and transportation of center users residing in Benidorm. According to the agreement itself, the remaining economic deliveries will be paid in May and July respectively.
Doble Amor is an institution attended by half a hundred people with functional diversity in Benidorm and the Marina Baixa, also manages a Special Employment Center and Doble Amor Laundry that gives work to another half a hundred. With the financial contribution, the City Council guarantees the coverage of part of the center's expenses during this year and shows its support for the work carried out by the entity for the benefit of people who need it most.
