The Library Network participates in a children's drawing contest to find the best monsters
The Benidorm City Council Library Network, in collaboration with the local bookstore Contalles and the publishing house Combel, has organized throughout February a contest called 'Agus and the monsters', through which the publishing house Combel searches for five monsters who will be part of Agus and Lidia's gang in the series of children's albums of the same name and its future editions.
To participate, boys and girls who wish to do so can go to Benidorm Central Library today to pick up the drawing template for the contest. They can make their drawing in the library or at home and use the technique they prefer (markers, pencils, crayons, etc.). The drawing must be delivered to the Contalles Bookstore, located on San Roque Street, number 19.
The maximum date to participate is February 29, the last day on which drawings of these imaginary monsters can be submitted. The winners of the contest will receive as prizes, among others, a set of three books from the collection, the official Mr Flat plush toy or the monstrous notebook, and will also have the honour of having their drawings appear in the books of the 'Agus' series. and the monsters'.
The Councilor for Historical and Cultural Heritage, Ana Pellicer, explained that, in addition, “with all the drawings submitted to the contest, an exhibition will be held in the entrance hall of the Central Library, as a reward for all the small artists who dare to participate". For this reason, the councillor has encouraged “the boys and girls of Benidorm to let their imaginations fly and participate in this beautiful initiative.”
