Inaugurated the First Contest of Cider of Asturias in Elche Park

This afternoon in the park of Elche the opening ceremony of the First Contest of Cider of Asturias has taken place to which the councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles and the councillor, José Ramón González de Zárate have participated accompanied by the president of Casa de Asturias of the Marina Baixa, Ramón Cabrillo, the 'Xana' Alexandra Velecela and representatives of each of the 'llagares' participants in the event: Eloy Cortina from Sidra Cortina; José Manuel Ferrera from Sidra Trabanco and Rafael Iván Vigil from Sidra Menéndez.

From today and until next Sunday September 30, tourists and residents will be able to taste the typical Asturian products and especially cider, in all its varieties with the participation of the llagares Sidra Cortina, Sidra Menéndez and Sidra Trabanco, belonging to the Regulatory Council of the Cider of Asturias DOP and organized by the Casa de Asturias of Marina Baixa.

The schedule to enjoy this event will be Friday from 6:30 pm to 12:00 am, Saturday all day from 11:00 am and Sunday until 4:00 pm.

The closing ceremony will be on Sunday at 12:00 in charge of the mayor of Gijón, Carmen Morillon Entrialgo.
