The CIJ Benidorm is the issuing point of the card and advises on its applicable advantages in 38 European countries

If you are between 14 and 30 years old, you can apply for your Youth Card

29 April 2022
Si tienes entre 14 y 30 años, puedes solicitar tu Carnet Jove

The Youth Information Center (CIJ), launches a new campaign to promote the Youth Card issued by the Institut Valencià de la Joventut (IVAJ) of the Generalitat and which can be processed directly in Benidorm at a cost of only 7.70 euros.

Jaime Jesús Pérez, Councilor for Youth, recalled that the Youth Card is a service that "facilitates young people mobility and intercommunication and many advantages to access service goods of a socio-cultural, economic or recreational nature" and that "it is in force in 38 countries of Europe”. On the other hand, the councillor has clarified that the CIJ of Benidorm is authorized as the issuing point of the accreditation

The Youth Card is compatible with the European Youth Card, also known as EURO<26. It can be accessed by people between the ages of 14 and 30. It is a personal document valid for two years and is issued in two versions: classic or bank card.

The Councilor for Youth has added that the Youth Card "incorporates the characteristics of the hostel card" that allows its holder to "stay in more than 300 youth hostels in Spain and 4,000 in other countries." Jaime Jesús Pérez has also influenced the facilities for obtaining it that "in cases of large or single-parent families, young people with reduced mobility or victims of sexist violence, they entail bonuses or exemption from payment directly".

Jaime Jesús Pérez has encouraged all the young people of Benidorm to approach "their CIJ" to expand this information and receive, if necessary, advice to obtain their Youth Card and be able to enjoy it as soon as possible.
