The students have read between 7 and 20 books during the course
IES Pere Maria Orts i Bosch in Benidorm awards the readers prizes
The Assembly Hall of Benidorm Town Hall has hosted the presentation of the IES Pere María Orts i Bosch Reading Awards. An event that has brought together around 200 people, including family members and students, to recognize the effort made by ESO students throughout the course.
The acting mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, the acting councilor of Culture, Ana Pellicer, and the director of the Center, Antonio García, have presented the awards to the 33 students who have read more books since the beginning of the course , last September. The contest is an initiative of the Department of Spanish Language and Literature of the institute coordinated by Diego Margallo.
The winning students have completed the reading of at least 7 books, the most, 20. The first prizes have been for Patrick Romero, Adriana Expósito and Idaira Herrero, in Category A (1st and 2nd of ESO), and for Irene Cabrera, Estéfani Gorgoroso and Yasmine Ait el Madi, in Category B (3rd and 4th of ESO).
