This year it takes place in Ausias March school in ten different shifts
Open the registration for the Summer School organized by the Local Association of AMPA's for children from 3 to 14 years old
As in previous editions, Social Welfare and Education offer scholarships of up to 100%, including the dining room
Registration is now open for the Summer School organized by the Local Association of AMPA's with the collaboration of the Department of Education and Social Welfare and is aimed at children aged 3 to 14 years. On this occasion the Summer School is held in the Ausias March public school, and it has been structured in 10 different weekly shifts from June 25 to August 30.
The schedule of the Summer School is from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., although there is an optional dining room service. During their stay at the School, children will have school support and perform varied activities such as English, sports, great games, tournaments, gymkhana, crafts, social skills workshops and also experiments, body language, theater or cooking. To these activities are added the dance, the cinema, the care of an ecological garden, excursions to the Foietes Park, the beach and the swimming pool, at least once a week.
The acting mayor, Toni Pérez, and the mayor of Social Welfare, Angela Llorca, stressed that it is "a 100% inclusive and inclusive Summer School", since all minors attend it regardless of the situation of their families, since from both areas the attendance cost of the participants is totally or partially subsidized, including the dining room service.
The price per assistant of the Summer School is 40 euros per week for members of the AMPA and 45 euros for those who are not. As in previous editions, the Department of Social Welfare will receive full assistance to the Summer School of up to 60 students from families with severe material deprivation or those minors who are in a host state; while the Department of Education will subsidize up to half the cost of attendance of other participants of the Summer School registered in Benidorm.
Last year, a total of 165 children attended the Summer School. The Department of Social Welfare granted 53 scholarships for a total amount of 27,713.07 euros; while Education did the same to subsidize assistance to 74 students -8,112 euros-.
Registration will be open until June 17 and can be done through the email info@iinp.es; at the headquarters of the Local Association of APAS in Benidorm on Tuesdays from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm and Thursdays from 9:30 am to 11:00 am; or in the AMPA of the schools of Benidorm. Parallel to the Summer School, and as in the previous two years, the Department of Social Welfare has convened a grant for the implementation of a classroom special attention by a non-profit social entity. This classroom is integrated in the AMPA's Summer School, it will work on the same dates as this one.
