Benidorm participates in a conference on Public Procurement of Innovation in Dinapsis
Benidorm Town Council has participated today in a conference on Public Purchase of Innovation focused on Smart Tourism that has been held at Dinapsis Operation & Lab center. The Councilor for Contracting and New Technologies, Lourdes Caselles, has participated in the opening of this day, in which the municipal engineer Vicente Mayor has offered a paper on 'Challenges and lines of work of Sustainable Development in a Smart Tourist Destination'.
Caselles has advocated incorporating innovation criteria into the specifications of local administration contracts, "even more so in Benidorm, a city that has demonstrated its commitment to innovation and technology by focusing on achieving its goal of being the first Smart Tourist Destination certified worldwide ". Exactly Smart Tourism has been the central axis of this day, in which the Valencian Agència de la Innovació (AVI) and the University Enterprise Foundation (Fundeun) have collaborated, and which was also attended by the general secretary of AVI, Olivia Estrella López.
