The IES Bernat de Sarrià celebrates the second edition of Bernat Fest in the Óscar Esplá auditorium
The students from the first to the fourth year of ESO of IES Bernat de Sarrià celebrated yesterday the second edition of Bernat Fest, an end-of-year festival that took place in the Óscar Esplá auditorium in Parque de l'Aigüera and was attended by students from the center, teachers and family. The acting Councilor for Education, Maite Moreno, and members of the municipal corporation also attended.
The gala was very lively from start to finish with numerous performances conducted by two students from the center. The director of the center, María José Coquillat, opened the event by thanking everyone for their presence and affirmed that "these projects make the center great" and that "for the second year we have turned the work into a reality because here we are all together and collaborating."
At the end of the festival, the awards ceremony took place, voted by a jury made up of teachers. The awards were for Best Performance (Deniza Bucur), Best Live Voice (Marta Zafra), and Best Choreography (Noa Murillo, Gabriela Grisales, Irene Arija, Paula Peralvo, and Miriam Gómez). Another two were also delivered to two students from the Personal Image branch of Training Cycles.
The final surprise was the characterization of three professors such as Tina Turner and two Beyoncés to pay tribute to the recently deceased singer, which also raised a lot of applause from the audience present.
