Green Line is consolidated as an effective tool to solve the incidents detected by neighbors in Benidorm
Green Line service is consolidated year after year as an effective tool to solve the incidents detected by the residents of Benidorm in the different neighborhoods of the city. Through a mobile application, citizens can communicate these incidents so that they can be resolved by the municipal technical services.
The type of incidents that have been reported the most are those that refer to "Sidewalks and Roads", followed by "Cleaning", "Lightining", "Parks and Gardens" and "Citizenship Security". To date, 2,064 incidents have been reported, of which 67% have already been solved and 22% are in process.
In order to use this service it is necessary to download the Green Line APP, either through Google Play or APP Store depending on the technology used in your Smartphone (Android / iOS). The download is free and through the application the user selects the place on which he wants to communicate the incident.
To communicate an incident, just click on the "New Incident" button and a dropdown with the different types of incidents appears on the screen. The user selects and automatically the APP detects the exact coordinates in which the fault is located. The next step is to attach a photo of the incident and observation about it and send it. Once sent, City staff receives notification of the damage and from that moment the procedures begin to solve the detected problem. The citizen, in turn, receives notification on his mobile phone whenever there is a change in the status of the same.
Through the Green Line, the user can also raise any environmental questions. Just select the option "Make your query" and within a maximum period of 24 hours will have a response from a team of experts in the field completely free.
The Green Line service can also be accessed through the domain www.lineaverdebenidorm.com. In addition to communicating an incident or raising a query, the user has a broad content of environmental consultation as a guide to good practices, advice, information specific to the municipality, and so on. Green Line also offers its services through telephone contact on the number 902 193 768 from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm (cost of the call 0.07 € / min).
