The Glorieta Carrascos reopens its playground with more safety and accessibility improvements
The department of Works has completed the works of adaptation carried out in the playground of the Glorieta Carrascos, improving accessibility and safety putting a floor of rubber. The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, the councilman of Works, José Ramón González de Zárate and the councilwoman of Youth, Ana Pellicer, have checked this morning the actions taken, which give the neighborhood an area of 93 square meters of padded surface, games totally remodeled, adapted and restored which involves an investment of 9,000 euros. José Ramón González de Zárate noted that the work done "respond to a demand from the Neighborhood Council" necessary and for urgent rehabilitation of "a space that had deteriorated over the years." Zárate also highlighted the detail design of the new surface which, experimentally, it has been stamped with the logo of Benidorm.
