Four taekwondo fighters from Benidorm compete in the World Cup in Budapest

From 11 to 16 October in Budapest (Hungary) is celebrated theVI Taekwon-do ITF World Cup 2016, one of the largest international competitions where clubs around the world, among which is the Tae Club of Benidorm, measure their strength . The councillor for Sports, Ana Pellicer held a meeting with athletes at City Hall, a few days before the flight to the Hungarian capital. The four fighters Jonathan Moreno, Adrián Hernández, Sergio López and Katia Moreno, have flocked to the town hall accompanied by the president of  Tae Club, Paco Ferrando. There, Ana Pellicer told them "her proud" because they have taken "the name of the city so far" and the courageous and positive attitude they have shown to the media, she was convinced that "they will obtain fantastic results. " Paco Ferrando opted for the nquality of Benidorm fighters, he recalled that "the World Championship 2009 was held" in the city and stressed that in this call "there are already 1,800 registered competitors." Ferrando said "there are many possibilities", and highlighted the experience of Adrián and Jonathan and Katia and Sergio are keys for the future of the club. Meanwhile, wrestlers have it more than clear. Adrián has acknowledged that they will go "all out and with great enthusiasm" and Jonathan said they are "ready for anything". The four have spent many sacrifices and will give their best to their contenders , they "will see Spain as the toughest rival". After the meeting, Ana Pellicer gave the delegation a batch of sports equipment printed with the logo of Benidorm to take the name of their city in the tatami in Budapest.
