Conuco Dance presents 'Un día cualquiera' at Benidorm Palace for the benefit of Afem Marina Baixa

Social Welfare in collaboration with the Association of Family and People with Mental Illness of the Marina Baixa (Afem) and Cocuco Dance, has presented the dance gala 'Un día cualquiera' that will take place in Benidorm Palace on Sunday, 4 from December. from 7:00 p.m. The councilor for Social Welfare, Angela Llorca; the dance teacher and director of Cocuco Dance, José Ortíz and the coordinator and psychologist of Afem, Vicenta Belloch, have announced this morning to the media this show that Llorca has encouraged to attend because all "the collection will be destined to Afem "so that they can" continue to carry out the various psychosocial and occupational rehabilitation programs aimed at people with mental illness and their families. " Vicent Belloch has emphasized that the funds obtained will allow to continue working "with people with severe mental illness", making a special reference to those who suffer "schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, personality disorders or major depressions" through programs carried out by "individualized or group attention". For his part, José Ortiz has announced that on the stage will be "more than 80 people among children, adults, teachers and students of the school of Conuco", during more than 90 minutes, with a compilation of sample of everything: modern dance, Hip Hop. Salsa, Flamenco and Sevillanas. A very broad repertoire that will be complemented with the special performance of the School of Music of Roberto Carballo, "a very fun performance with popular songs", she pointed out. The gala is promoted in social networks labeled # soycomotú, national motto used by associations of mental illness in Spain. This is intended to normalize and make visible this type of disorders and to inform that, with the appropriate treatment, a person with mental illness can live like the others. Tickets, a donation of 10 euros, can be purchased at the local headquarters of Afem, at the Municipal Center Pepa Esperanza Llinares Llorca, Calle Juan Antonio Baldoví (La Cala); In Conuco Dance, Avenida de la Comunitat Valenciana; In the Kiosk of the Triangular Square and in the lockers of Benidorm Palace the same day of the gala.
