The 'Fira de Nadal' organized by the Fiestas Committee is celebrated this weekend

Cristina Escoda congratulated the President of the Commission for "preparing the 'Fira de Nadal' with so little time" and stressed "the extra effort they have this year with the celebration of the 275th anniversary of the Discovery of the Virgin". Finally, the councillor for Fiestas encouraged all citizens to visit this weekend the 'Fira'.

For his part, Juan Muñoz is reported that this year the 'Fira de Nadal' has changed its location and it is celebrated in Martínez Alejos street and Gambo street "to accommodate the 41 stands we have prepared".

The president of the Commission indicated that it will release a commemorative calendar for the 275th anniversary of the "Hallazgo de la Virgen".

The 'Fira de Nadal' opens on Saturday 13 at approximately 11:00 until 22:00. On Sunday it will be open from 10:00 to 22:00 hours.

The commission for the Major Patron Festivities has organized more activities for this Christmas like 'Concurs de Dolços Nadalencs' on 23 December from17:00 to 20:00 in La Biga street; 'La Nit de Nadal' on 24 December after midnight there will be a mass in Plaza de la Constitución with sweets and sweet wine; and the tipycal 'King cake' will be sold on January 5 in 'La Palmera' from 10:00 to 18:00 hours.
