The European Mobility Week promotes the new green circuit of El Moralet
Benidorm has continued to celebrate the European Mobility Week in Benidorm on Saturday with a playful and recreational route that will be the new green circuit that starts from El Moralet and that will link Colonia Madrid with La Cala neighborhood.
The Councilor for Mobility, José Ramón González de Zárate, together with the councilors of Citizen Participation and Sports, Ana Pellicer and Mariló Cebreros, accompanied by neighbors and municipal technicians, have travelled what will be the first section of this green path that begins next to the train station (parking lot on Beniardá avenue), and continue to 'Guillermo Amor' Sports City.
The works of this new green infrastructure have already started. When they are fully completed, the city will have an outer ring road through the forest, following the railway line at a distance, which will connect Colonia Madrid and La Cala in just over half an hour on foot, even less by bicycle. , and without road traffic, although emergency vehicles can circulate on its road, if necessary given that it will have a width of five meters.
