The Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángela Llorca, has announced that Benidorm City Council will join the Aid Program for Vulnerable People 2021 promoted by the Generalitat that aims to meet the payments caused by the habitual residence.
The aid that will be granted to housing "on an exceptional basis - the mayor has specified - and in order to facilitate a housing solution to people who are victims of gender violence, who have suffered eviction from their habitual residence, homeless people and others especially vulnerable ”in Benidorm”.

The amount of assistance may be "up to 100% of the total amount of the rent or price of occupation of the property", although, has clarified Llorca, "with a limit of 600 and up to 900 euros per month."
