The Department of Employment and Avibe will promote training courses in 2017 focused on tourism

Mª Jesús Pinto, councilor for Employment and Local Development has held a meeting with Juan José Pérez Parker, president of the Business Association of Travel Agencies of Benidorm (AVIBE) and directives of the board she chairs, to propose lines of collaboration aimed at developing Initiatives in training. The councilor of Employment stated that "in line with the local Employment and Development Agency of Benidorm with various business associations in the city, we have met with representatives of AVIBE in the possibility of developing a training program for its partners Throughout 2017 ". Juan José Pérez Parker, for his part, thanked the Benidorm City Council for their willingness to carry out specific training programs focused on the tourism sector and anticipated their willingness to collaborate with this institution. "The collaboration with the AEDL will have mutual benefits, both for our partners and for those who participate in training programs, so we are committed to collaboration and continuity" next year. Recently the department of Employment and Local Development was recognized by the Consellería of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labor as an accredited entity for the delivery of certificates of professionalism in various subjects, among them the sale of tourist products and services, specialty oriented to the professional practice in travel agencies and entities dedicated to the tourist distribution. Currently, AVIBE has a total of 27 travel agencies, representing 88% of the Tour Operators (national and foreign) on the Costa Blanca.
