The 20 unemployed people received an economic benefit in addition to the training
Delivery of diplomas in the Escoles d’Ocupación Et Formem Benidorm
The Councilor for Employment and Local Development, Mª Jesús Pinto, has given to the participants in the project 'Escoles d'Ocupació' Et Formem 'Benidorm the diplomas for participating in this training activity organized by Benidorm City Council.
"This project," Pinto recalled, "is included in the extensive training program of the Agency for Employment and Local Development (AEDL), and aims at the employment of unemployed people in Benidorm." Pinto also pointed out that, despite the completion of this activation, the T'Avalem 'Racó de Loix', the Employment Workshop 'Benidorm VI' and 'Benidorm INCLUSION' are still underway, with a total of 85 unemployed people of Benidorm, with different profiles, participate in training programs that will allow them to access the labor market with guarantees ".
Et Formem Benidorm began last December, during all this time the training process in two specialties has been completed: 'Auxiliary operations of administrative and general services' and 'Auxiliary operations in the organization of activities and operation of sports facilities'. In each of them, 10 people participated, 20 in total who have enjoyed a contract with Benidorm City Council, and have received each month the equivalent of the minimum interprofessional salary (SMI).
The theoretical phase of Et Formem was carried out in the Training Center for Employment 'Pepita Puchades'. The practices, consisting of tasks of attention to citizens, in the municipal social centers and in the offices and departments with information points. Auxiliary tasks have also been carried out in the sports facilities of the City Council. In this sense, Mª Jesús Pinto thanked the collaboration of the different departments, specifically the councils of Social Welfare, Citizen Participation and Sports.
The Escoles d'Ocupació 'Et Formem' have had a cost of 140,686.40 euros, of which 92% (129,686.40) have been contributed by the European Social Fund through the Valencian Employment and Training Service (SERVEF) ). For the City Council has cost 11,000 euros.
