Benidorm increases the charging points for electric vehicles to four
Benidorm has already four charging points for electric vehicles for public use, becoming "one of the cities of the Valencian Community" with more devices of this type, as reported by the councilor for Environment, José Ramón González de Zárate.
To the point installed last year at Plaza SSMM los Reyes de España are now added three, located on Jaime I avenue number 22, in Alfonso Puchades corner with Mirador street, and at the intersection of Mediterráneo with Miguel Martorell street.
De Zárate remarked that "little by little we are creating a network of recharging points", whose use "is free, since what we seek is to encourage the use of electric vehicles in the city, whether they are neighbors or tourists, to reduce CO2 emissions and favor the achievement of the objectives set out in the Sustainable Energy Action Plan ".
The installation of these new loading points has involved an investment of 21,590.28 euros, of which 8,921.60 euros have been subsidized by the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE).
Drivers can manage the use of these points through the Fenie Energía platform, either on the web http://recarga.fenieenergia.es/ or in the mobile application. This platform allows you to reserve the recharge point at a specific time and enable it for its use.
