Sigma Infraestructuras has offered 55.55% more volume of work

The Contracting Committee proposes the adjudication of the works to make Pérez Llorca street pedestrian

21 November 2017
La Mesa de Contratación propone la adjudicación de las obras para semipeatonalizar Pérez Llorca

The City Council of Benidorm will award in the coming days the works to make Doctor Pérez Llprca street pedestrian, after the Contracting Committee today opened the proposals submitted by the ten companies that have attended this public tender.

These works, tendered for 469,921.60 euros, will be developed between Valencia and Martínez Alejos street, and propose to make pedestrian this section of Pérez Llorca creating a zig-zag itinerary through the installation of urban furniture and planters, which will force the vehicles that circulate along this path of about 160 meters to do so at a rate much lower than the current one. At the two ends of the street folding bollards are going to be installed.

After excluding two companies -one for lack of documentation and another for not showing sufficient technical solvency-, technicians have assessed the work increases of the remaining bids and have proposed the award in favor of Sigma Infraestructuras, which has proposed an improvement of the 55.55%.

In the coming days, the Local Government Board must award the works, which will begin in the first weeks of December.

Today two other Contracting Tables have been held: that of the works for the excavation, consolidation and museum of the archaeological site of Tossal de La Cala; and that of the customer service at the Boca Calvari Museum and l'Hort de Colón. Both contracts have been tendered by open competition.

Six companies were opting to tender the works at the Tossal site, one of which has been excluded because it does not sufficiently prove its technical solvency. Now the Historical Heritage area should assess the technical proposals of the five companies that have passed the first cut. Once this score is available, the last envelope will be opened, which contains the financial offer.

Six companies have submitted to the contract of attention to the public in the museums. Before opening the next envelope, the Contracting Department will study if all of them comply with the technical requirements demanded in the specifications.
