The City Council of Benidorm, through the Department of Social Welfare led by Angela Llorca, has granted one more year, through a public call for grants, subsidies to groups that provide social services in the city. Aids that this time reach 70,000 euros.
The non-profit entities based in Benidorm that have benefited from the public announcement of the Department of Social Welfare in the social health field in 2018 have been: Inclúyenos (Association of Parents of Autistic Persons and with Specific Language Disorders ), Asmibe (Association of People with Disabilities of Benidorm), Asofiben (Association of Fibromyalgia and Fatigue), Apaex (Provincial Association of Former Alcoholics), Anemone (Self-help Group for women with breast and gynecological cancer), Friends (Association of Help for HIV), Afem (Association of Relatives and Mentally Ill) and Afa (Association of Relatives and Patients with Alzheimer's Disease). In the field of international cooperation, aid has been granted to Manos Unidas, Association of Friends of the Saharawi People and Chambáa.
