Bodegas Bocopa donates 2,400 euros to Doble Amor from the sales of the wine 'Señorío de Benidorm'
This Thursday, Doble Amor Occupational Center in Benidorm received a check for 2,400 euros from Bodegas Bocopa, as a donation for 1% of the sales of 'Señorío de Benidorm' wine registered during the year 2023. The event took place at the doors of the city's Town Hall and numerous members of the Municipal Corporation participated, led by Mayor Toni Pérez and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángela Zaragozí, to support this solidarity action in favour of Doble Amor.
The delivery of the check has been formalized by José Flor, commercial director of the wineries, and by Víctor López, sales director of the Levante area. The president of the entity, José Luis Calvo, as well as other members of its board of directors, attended on behalf of Double Amor.
From Bodegas Bocopa they have highlighted that this is the eighth donation that has been made to Doble Amor to support the work they do with people with different intellectual abilities in the region and that it is “a way of returning a part of the benefit to the place where they came from.” the wine takes its name.”
For his part, Mayor Toni Pérez has highlighted that it is “a product of the land that contributes to the social economy” and has underlined the “promotional value” of the wine “because it bears the name of a great city, in which in addition, there is an occupational centre that is equally large for the work it does, such as Double Amor.”
