Benidorm will hold an extraordinary plenary session to participate in a new call for Red.es
The plenary session of Benidorm will meet next Monday, October 19, in an extraordinary session to address the proposal of the mayor, Toni Pérez, to participate in a new call for Red.es with a project valued at just over 4 million euros. This project, of biannual nature, includes actions aimed at "consolidating the transformation of the city into a Smart Tourist Destination".
The proposal of the mayor is that, if selected, the City will assume 40% of the cost of the project, which would mean a municipal investment of 804,611.75 euros in 2018 and the same amount next year. 60% of the remaining investment would be the responsibility of the Public Business Entity Red.es, attached to the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda through the Secretary of State for the Information Society and the Digital Agenda.
The deadline to apply to this call for aid of the program of the National Plan of Smart Territories of the Digital Agenda for Spain Smart Tourist Destinations ends next February 22.
