The deadline for the application will be open until August 28 and the adjudication will be made in order of the requests in the registry.

Benidorm will assign 80 passes in l'Aigüera car park for the quarter from September to November

23 August 2023
Parquing de l'Aigüera

Benidorm City Council will assign 80 passes for vehicles in l'Aigüera municipal public car park for the quarter that includes the months of September, October, and November. The period for requesting it will be open until August 28.

The bases establish the award criteria for all citizens who submit their applications. Thus, the passes will be assigned in order of entry into the register to those applicants who meet the requirements until the number of passes offered is reached.

The bases, published on the bulletin board of the municipal website www.benidorm.org indicate that all people who request a subscription by the requirements will be admitted under equal conditions. In this sense, to qualify for a 24-hour subscription from September 1 to November 30, you need to be the owner of a tourism-type vehicle. Resident cardholders will also be able to opt for a credit bonus.

The submission of applications must be made within the period established in person at the general register of the City Council (from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) or using the Electronic Register addressed to the Department of Urban Scene at the web address https://sede.benidorm. org/web/guest/electronic-registration

Applicants must submit the subscription request at the public underground car park l'Aigüera and must indicate whether they meet the conditions for the discount per resident.

The City Council will be in charge of verifying compliance with the requirements and will establish the order of priority. Afterward, it will send to the company that performs the maintenance and collaborates with the management the definitive list of requests for the issuance of the subscriptions.

Such requests must include the identification data of the petitioner (name, surname, ID, telephone, email, and address), and the model and license plate of the vehicle. The bases clarify that a subscription may only be requested for one license plate per registration and that only the vehicle indicated in the application may be parked exclusively. The estimate of the request will be communicated by telephone or SMS to the telephone number presented.

The stipulated price for this 24-hour quarterly pass will be 254.35 euros while the subsidized price for Resident card holders will be 160.47 euros. The term to make the payment will be five calendar days from the communication of the estimate of the request.

It is also clarified that contracting a season ticket does not imply the reservation of space, so the season ticket holder may park their vehicle in any available space.

Nor does it grant priority entry to the car park if other vehicles are waiting beforehand.

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has indicated that "we continue advancing in the mobility policy and in the effort to facilitate nearby parking" and has stressed in this regard that it is "subscriptions with economic facilities for cardholders Resident".

In the opinion of the mayor, the work of the City Council "is not only to recover the street for pedestrians but also to provide solutions, such as those more than 8,000 spaces in 40 park-and-rides created in this administration, to which we add parking management de l'Aigüera and the launch of these fertilizers”.

Pérez has specified that the issuance and implementation of these passes "is born from active listening with the residents, to whom we give more facilities to access and park their vehicle."

The mayor has considered that the season ticket rates "are very interesting, especially for residents in the center of the city" and has highlighted the improvements and novelties that have been implemented in this new phase of public parking management "such as the installation of more surveillance cameras, the traffic guidance and location system for free spaces, charging spaces for electric vehicles, for vehicles with trailers or larger spaces for family vehicles with pushchairs, among others”.
