Benidorm together with Asmibe in the celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities
A banner with a large blue bow has been displayed this afternoon on the main balcony of Benidorm City Council on the occasion of the celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a day that has been celebrated every December 3, since 1992, sponsored by the United Nations Organization.
The first deputy mayor, Ana Pellicer, together with the mayor of Social Welfare, Ángela Llorca and other members of the Municipal Corporation, have wrapped up the president of the Association of People with Disabilities of Benidorm and the Region (ASMIBE), Mari Fernández and many of his associates who have concentrated in the square of SS. MM. los Reyes de España where the first of the activities took place organized by the group on the occasion of the anniversary.
This afternoon, at 5.30 pm, the City Hall Assembly Hall will host the screening of the film "Mi hermano persigue dinosaurios" and then a debate moderated by the ASMIBE psychologist, Yolanda Sánchez.
On Thursday, day 2, at 6:00 p.m., an audition festival will take place at Casa del Fester ‘Diego Cano Enguera’ where the works produced in the association's workshops will be shown and there will be musical performances by collaborating artists.
The events will continue on Friday, December 3, with the celebration of the twentieth edition of the Winter Craft Market, from 10:00 to 13:30, at the junction of Gambo and Martínez Alejos streets. At 12.00, in the same place, the reading of the traditional manifesto of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
ASMIBE activities program will close on Saturday, the 4th, with the 25th Charity and Coexistence Dinner that will take place at 8.30pm at Hotel Marina.
