While the Association of Penyes ‘Verge del Sofratge’ finalizes the preparations for Benidorm Carnival that will begin tomorrow, schools in Benidorm today enjoy the day with parties and parades in the city.
Students of the Infant and Primary Education schools Bautista Lledó, Aitana and Vasco Núñez de Balboa have made a joint parade through the streets of the school zone. They have also done independently Serra Gelada, Leonor Canalejas and Gabriel Miró. The rest of public, private and concerted centers, including municipal nursery schools, have celebrated their carnival indoors.
Benidorm Carnival parties, organized by Associació de Penyes with the collaboration of the Department of Festivities directed by Jesús Carrobles, will begin tomorrow with the pre-children's parade concentration, at 10:00 a.m. on Escuelas street. At night the time of adults will arrive, starting at 20.30 and the subsequent parade that will travel through Venus, Ruzafa, Herrerías, Dr. Fleming Square and Plaza de SS MM los Reyes de España.
Benidorm Carnival will come to an end on Tuesday, February 25, with the Burial of the Sardine. The Associació de Fiestas proposes the use of the tags # carnaval2020 # associaciódepenyes2020 in social networks to disseminate the party.
