14 February 2022
Patrimonio HIstórico

The Department of Historical Heritage resumes guided tours of the exhibitions at Boca del Calvari Museum.

Groups will be made up of a minimum of 6 people and reservations will be made by calling 96 683 06 74 or emailing patrimonihistoricb@gmail.com. The Museum assistants, trained for the occasion, will guide and explain the visit.

Boca del Calvari Museum is open from Monday to Sunday from 12:00 to 20:00. The guided tours will take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at specific times: Tuesdays, from 4:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.; on Wednesdays, from 12:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.; and Thursdays from 12:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

The exhibition that Boca del Calvari Museum until April 3 is Femenino Plural, a multidisciplinary collective exhibition programmed by the Department of Historical Heritage of Benidorm City Council that combines the photography by Lucía Morate and Carolina Diego, the painting by Ana Ruiz de Apodaca, the video by Elena Davó and the textile art by Ana Pomares. Five artists from Alicante, the first two from the capital; the other three, from Benidorm, coincide with 'Femenino plural' in the exploration, from the female perspective, of the world in which women are immersed.

The Councilor for Historical Heritage, Ana Pellicer, has highlighted the importance of resuming guided tours "as a clear symbol of the return to the normal activity of cultural and social life in Benidorm" and doing so with this exhibition in which "every one of the creators contributes her particular vision of the reality of women and with Benidorm she takes another step in search of identity and diversity, giving prominence to the feeling of women”.

The person in charge of Historical Heritage invited all tourists to visit the exhibition that now opens the opportunity for a guided tour and was sure that she will make them "reflect on many of the current issues".
