Benidorm is preparing to receive more than 20,000 people in the second edition of the Reggaeton Beach Festival

The health and security device consists of more than a hundred personnel, and more than 800 people will work in the event

Benidorm starts tomorrow the summer season of events with Reggateon Beach Festival, which in this second edition will gather from noon to more than 20,000 people to live more than 12 hours of music and performances by artists such as Nicky Jam, Becky G, Farruko, Karol G or Juan Magán. This morning, the mayor, Toni Pérez; the Councilman of Events and Festivals, Jesús Carrobles; and members of the corporation have visited the venue of the Ciudad Deportiva Guillermo Amor, where at this time the assembly for the event is finalized.

An event that will be developed on the athletics track, around which is distributed the area of ​​hospitality and leisure activities. To alleviate the heat, from the organization they have detailed that they are going to install aquatic inflatables, shadow zones and spray systems, including one from the stage. In addition, the swimming area of ​​the pool will be opened and there will be animation groups around the enclosure with portable water spray systems.

The mayor has indicated that "in this second edition the Reggaeton Beach Festival is fully consolidated," and added that it is a "very attractive for the city" festival from the promotional point of view and the age range of the target audience . "We are talking about a very interesting age segment," he pointed out, "since many of the attendees are new visitors, who know the city for the first time, and who in the future will be the users of Benidorm."

Apart from the promotional impact, Pérez has referred to the economic impact on the city, and has indicated that "more than 800 people work at the festival." This figure shows "the infrastructure and logistics deployment" that accompany this festival.

As it was already advanced in recent days, a comprehensive health and safety device has been designed. Thus, a private security team made up of more than 100 people will be responsible for security inside the premises. To these will be added troops from the Local Police and from the UIP and UPR units of the National Police Force at the entrances to the precinct and surroundings of the Ciudad Deportiva Guillermo Amor, as well as members of the Civil Protection. The sanitary device will be composed of a mobile ICU, two Ambulances of Basic Life Support (BLS) and TNA, eleven health emergency technicians, a doctor, two nurses and three lifeguards.

With regard to mobility, the  has been set up as a industrial park, and there will be a special taxi service on Foietes Avenue, next to the site.

From 10.00 today, attendees can approach the site to validate their wristbands and upload the payment system they have incorporated, to speed up access to the site tomorrow. An enclosure in which a 'Green Point' has been arranged in which attendees can deposit the official bottles and glasses of the festival for recycling, thus avoiding the proliferation of waste. In addition, there will also be a 'Violet Point' against harassment.
