Benidorm opens the 'Concerts at Castell' cycle this Wednesday, which will have three dates in the month of July

Within the calendar of activities programmed by the Department of Culture for the summer months, this Wednesday, July 10, the 'Concerts al Castell' cycle begins, which “will have three dates throughout the month and will "star metal and percussion bands from the three musical entities of Benidorm."

This is what the councillor for the department, Jaime Jesús Pérez, said today, explaining that “with this cycle we bring music to one of our most visited enclaves, further energizing its activity and bringing culture closer to the viewer, at the same time we promote the talent and quality of our bands.”

The Brass Band of the Societat Musical La Nova will be in charge of premiering the series tomorrow, starting at 9:30 p.m., with a program that includes adaptations of soundtracks from film hits such as 'Titanic' or 'La, la, land', or mythical songs by groups like Queen, Europe or Coldplay.

The next event of 'Concerts al Castell' will be on July 17, at the same time, by the Big Band of the Societat Musical l'Illa, and the cycle will close on July 31 with the Brass Band of the Unión Musical.

The Councilor for Culture has encouraged residents and tourists to “come to Plaça del Castell to experience a night of good music in a privileged place”, as well as “to consult all the programming in Benidorm Cultural so as not to miss any of the “music and theatre cycles and proposals planned for this summer.”
