Benidorm offers talks to raise awareness about the value of posidonia
Benidorm City Council, through the Department of Beaches, will offer talks tomorrow, Tuesday the 19th, and Wednesday the 20th, to raise awareness among beach users that “Posidonia is not garbage at all” and of the importance and value it has. This algae is in the marine environment and against erosion. This is a scientific talk under the title 'The underwater treasure of coastal ecosystems', which will be given by Sandra Cristina Gómez Durán, a graduate of Environmental Sciences from the University of Murcia and a specialist in Waste Management and Management of the natural environment.
The first of the talks will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, at the Beach Library located next to Elche Park, in Poniente, at 11 in the morning. The second talk will be at 12:30 p.m., also tomorrow, and will take place at the La Cala biblioplaya. The last of the conferences will take place on Wednesday the 20th at Levante Beach Library starting at 11 a.m.
