Benidorm lives its Corpus Christi procession for another year
The streets of Benidorm once again dressed in 'murta' and flowers for another year in the Corpus Christi procession. Religious act in which all the children who have taken their first communion this spring participate.
Thousands of people crowded along the route that started around 8:00 p.m. from the parish church of Sant Jaume i Santa Anna, would go down Calle Mayor to La Palmera and return to the starting point along Paseo de la Carretera, an hour later.

The procession made three stops, at La Palmera, in Paseo de la Carretera, and at Plaza de Sant Jaume. At the end of the tour, the children and their families returned to the temple where they were congratulated by the parish priest for their good behavior.
